in a short space of time. We are working on a large range of exciting print campaigns across Film and TV
from concept, through shoot to delivery. You will be joining a team who are passionate about challenging the
status quo of poster design and drawing from a wide range of influences. A love of design is essential.
The Print Producer is responsible for project management, from initial client briefing through creative
execution and delivery. The Producer works directly with clients, while simultaneously managing internal
resources to ensure the delivery of the project is on time, on budget, and delivered with the highest creative
quality. While the job focuses on creativity, key anchors of the position are a developed sense of
organisation, client and overall financial management of jobs across the department. You will be responsible
for the overall client relationships with several major studios and streamers.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Creative Strategy and Production
- Creatively produce and project manage exceptional content for marketing campaigns, with a focus on print & key art led projects, from client briefing stage, to end project delivery.
- Work with both client and internal teams to understand positioning, messaging, and target demographics, solving challenges from a strategic and tactical perspective.
- Work closely with the Studio Manager on team resources and scheduling for projects
- Have a good understanding of creative marketing post-production workflows and materials for both print and AV especially in the theatrical and streaming space and excel in managing a large volume of assets in a high-speed, high-performance environment.
- Be responsible for the quality control of all project assets supplied to client.
- Ensure the print department is communicating with other creatives across the company, prioritising appropriately and approaching briefs with an interdisciplinary response.
- Review projects and ensure integrity of creative, cost and strategic positioning, ensuring all projects remain within budget, and invoiced by month end.
- Maintain an awareness of overall billing for the print department and work with producers to ensure jobs are billed at appropriate campaign milestones to regulate income.
- Maintain oversight of internal profitability on print jobs.
- Continually be a leader with innovative creative marketing ideas that will extend the brand on all platforms.
- Help execute and shape the print departments strategic and creative goals.
New Business
- Build positive, productive and professional relationships with all internal and external clients.
- Roadmap potential new clients and accounts identifying opportunities for growth.
- Be confident promoting Intermission’s business with new and existing clients.
- Manage the billing pipeline for the print department and work with the MD on profitability and future strategic planning.
Talent and Development
- Nurture up and coming talent, ensuring we have a diverse and inclusive team with a positive mentoring environment across all departments.
- Build a great black book of contacts across clients and freelancers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience project managing and or producing creative campaigns for a trailer house, creative agency, design agency, streamer, distributor, or broadcaster.
- Understand all phases of post-production workflow and associated technologies.
- Demonstrated time management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, creatively problem-solve and be a force for calm under pressure.
- Adaptable and revels in change and shifting priorities.
- Awareness of In Design and Photoshop workflows a benefit.
- Understand the International nature of our business and be flexible with working patterns.
